BUSY BEE 101 is back to blog! And he is flying off to HOKKAIDOOOOOOOOOOOO tonight!!
EGGCITING!:D

Anyway, been really busy with school's hectic schedule and all. And then there are trainings too. Got to meet up with love-leh friends as well.

Watched twilight with Jia Min and Darren Cher after project meeting that very day. (can't remember which. Lol.) It was damn good manxxx! I haven't really read the book la. So from a biased point of view, the movie was great.

Met up with Lydia, Cheryl, Cristal, Michelle and MC at J8. Dined at Pasta Mania and then headed to Lydia's house for game of life! Hahah, damn old school=damn fun. But the main idea was to watch Little Nyonya at her house. Heh.

Went out with Neo and Dom the other day to Vivo. Had dinner at White Dog's. Then hung around the arcade. We are very very violent people i must say.

Met up with the clique at AMK to celebrate MQ's belated birthday. Everyone was there so we were a lil' rowdy. Hahah. And Yuwen's getting a tad too annoying. Tsktsk.

Oh oh, went to play bowling with mom and sis at Warren's Golf Club on sunday. (haha, this i remember the day) Eh, not easy leh! My butt cheeks and thighs hurt like crazy the day after and i dont see why bowling can do this to me leh. Dammit. Must be getting old.

Anyhow, photo updates!

Okay, off to pack bags! Ciao!

Bomb, Xuan: Linked!
Steph: Relinked!
TPWP: Oh dear, yes my bad. Corrected!
Bailing, WJ: Woah those girls were seriously goddamn ugly. Soon-bah.

I'm tired 'cos i think i lack sleep.
I just studied the glossary for culinary.
The test isn't till next year.
I'm crazy i know.
I have to wake up at dammit 5am tmr for culinary.
So i'm pissed now.
And extra pissed with my laptop for going all nuts and cranky.
WHY WHY WHY?
But i love my class.
'Cos at least Pearlyn's in it.
And culinary isnt that bad actually.
'Cos at least Louis is my table partner.
Sentosa kinda rawks too.
'Cos Palawan beach is just behind.
I think i'm going bonkers.
'Cos i'm looking forward to culinary tmr all of a sudden.
Someone save moi. PLEASEEEEEE!
I just want to quit school. And then rob a bank. And then elope to a faraway exotic island.
Oh no, wait.
I will go to trannyland to get plastic surgery first.
Then elope.
Yes i love my grand plans;)

OKAY QUICK UPDATES!

POLITE's over! Got 4th but still happy with the results! Here goes..
TP vs NYP, 6-7
TP vs NP, 7-13
TP vs RP, 14-15
TP vs SP, 9-4

Not bad at all eh! Considering last year's POLITE results..
TP vs NYP, 1-20
TP vs NP, 1-16
TP vs RP, 3-15
(SP didnt compete.)
So watch your backs people! Underdogs gonna rule the pool next year!

School has reopened. Dammit. On a lighter note, sentosa campus is very nice. Okay la, not THAT nice but still cool enough to make a school. And the freaking train ride isnt as pleasant as expected. Sheesh. From Serangoon all the way to Cheenatown.
Survivor tip 1: Get accustomed to sniffing smelly pits from now on.
Survivor tip 2: Be kiasu a bit. Squeeze and give people (working adults) dirty looks when they steal your seat. And if this doesnt work or you are a hum-ji kia..
Survivor tip 3: Wake up goddamn early and then take the train down to Punggol, where everyone alights, and then enjoy the comfort of choosing the best seats in the cabin. Then you can mock those who usually take your seat. But then again, if you are hum-ji, you prolly wont have guts to sneer at people.

Tag replies tmr! Ciao!

EFFING GROSS/DISGUSTING/TURN-OFF!!!!!
I was on the bus 8 this morning (on the way to school for training, of course) when i saw two ladies walking up the bus.
I stared at them.
Because i thought they were pretty ugly.
Pretty ugly China girls to be precise (no offense).
Face? Fugly.
Hair? Fugly.
Figure? Fugly.
They were both around 18 to 19 years of age and their dress sense was super horrible as well.
When i was still comtemplating how ugly they were, they saw me looking at them.
They giggled because they thought i was ogling them. RIGHT.
I turned away. Or rather, was repelled by their endless beauty.
But they continued to look over to my side.
When i alighted, they tried to hint a smile (seriously! i saw with the corner of my innocent eye!).
I almost died.
Okay enough randomness. But really, the two girls were not the best looking people i have ever seen. Now TohQiuLing seems like the prettiest girl in the world.
Really deprived.
Anyway, the world seems to be in a turmoil right now. So someone please, SAVE THE WORLD!
With the China food-containing-melamine catastrophe and the US economy falling apart, we do need a non-fictitious Clark Kent to save the crumbling economy.
Not to mention global warming.
And poverty.
And terrorism.
And natural disasters.
And war.
And this and that.
And the cheerleader. (Then again, REAL GIRLS EAT MEAT)
Or maybe they should just bring the whole Heroes cast to life. Then that will be super cool.
Talking about poverty, i just made a vow to Buddha, (Buddhists do make vows too!) aka the Guan Yin Ma in common lingo, that i would finish my food, just my own and not others, that is presented in front of me. Cheesy and cliche-ish it may be, children in Africa are really suffering. So the least us Singaporeans can do is to finish our food.
Don't finish your food? You lose to those who do. And since we are kiasu people, just finish your food.
Can't finish your food? You might just die of hunger. And since we are kiasi people, just finish your food.
As easy as ABC.
Enough side tracking. I'm frigging tired from training today. POLITE in exactly two weeks.
Shivers.

Saturday, September 20, 2008

Lol. Haven't been blogging much. Too tired from trainings eh.
POLITE in a month's time. *fingers crossed*
And damn! 3 weeks of holidays are over alr! Super duper fast manxxx! Feels like it hasn't even been a week. Sheesh.
Yes, i dread school (because it means no more late nights and lazy mornings). Dread, dread, dread.
Yes, i love polo. Love, love, love.
And yes, i am tired. Very very tired.

Tag replies!
Sam: Lol. Yes! Train, train train! :D Jiayou to you too!

Dom: Ya! Sign me up for the swim team! Hah study hard eh!(:

My "chio" friend: Yes, still eating like a pig. And life rawks. Lol. Haha, when's your flight anyway?

Amelia: Thanks yo!!

Huiping: Hahaha i dont have your blog link!

Xiangwei: Lol it's shown on channel five??

I'm shagged like a kuku nehneh. (Do pardon me. I'm a total physical and mental wreck right now)

Have been training like hell the past few days. Really. The total amount i have swam for the past five days is equivalent the the amount i swam since i was born till last week.

Monday: I forgot how much the team swam but definitely more than 5km. Gymed in the morning too.
Tuesday: Gymed then swam 1km. (yes, slackest day by far)
Wednesday: Gymed then swam 1km then rested till 5pm. True enough, Queenstown training at 5pm marked hell training. Did 152*25metres laps under an hour, 1-10 pyramid swim*25 metres, 6 sets of 4*25 metres, 10*50metres (one minute round).
Total distance? 7.275km. Killer.
Thursday: Also quite slack. Gymed then headed to school pool for not-so-hiong training.
Friday (today): Did 142*25metres laps under 45 mins, 5 sets of 8*25metres laps, 10 sets of 4*25metres laps, 10*50metres (one minute round).
Total distance? 6.05km. Killer.

See see? More than 15km in a week. And i'll be training with this routine for the next one and a half months. Oh my tian. Okay, at least tmr's and sunday's training only game training. Heng shit to the max.
Yes, c'mon. One week down. 6 more weeks to go! For POLITE!

P/S: Happy belated bird-day to TOH QIULING, Le Crazy. And Happy bird-day to Elroi!

BURNT & DRAINED. But i like(:

Have been training continuously non-stop for 2 days. From morning to night. Here's how the schedule goes..
Monday: Gym in the morning, swimming in the afternoon, break, swimming in the evening.
Tuesday: Gym in the morning, swimming in the afternoon. Period.
Wednesday, thursday, friday: Please refer back to Mondaaaaaaaaaaay.
Saturday: Game training in the morning in school.
Sunday: Game training in the morning at Queenstown.
Hahah. My holidays are practically packed with trainings.
Yes! Train, train, train! POLITE, POLITE, POLITE!

Yes, exams are finally over. Phew. Denotes the studying at Sentosa next sememster! Oo-lala~

Went out with tucky, qL and dom on last week. Been a long time since i last saw them man. Still as gossipy as ever. Haha. It was really nice hanging out with them especially when hectic school life for this semester has ended. Just sat down and chatted. No, i meant bitched and gossiped.

Oh, watched 4bia today with jeff and melvin too. Cool and freaky man. Shutter is still much better though.

Okay, i'm officially "knonked out". I need my soft, comfy, cozy bed/pillow/blanket/bolster now!

Qiuling: mine's over too! and remember the flick c**k game? ;)
Steph: hahah see! who ask you didnt go back the other day!
Tucky: oops, haven't heard it yet! ha and do meet up soon yo!
Dom: Linked!!!!!!!!:D

Yes!
On a high note, (there isnt a low one to start with)
study week's tmr onwards! That means no school! I dont really care if i have a lot to mug. Well, i do have quite a bit to study for. But at least i can wake up at ungodly late hours. (which means after 12pm) Heh.

On a higher note, (there isnt a lower one to start with)
i got rather decent scores for my courseworks (not including geog and SSM yet, both of which can most likely be added to the "C" list) which are very very pleasant to the eye. Couple of As and Bs. Haha.

On the highest note, (then again, there isnt a lowest one to start with)
SSM is finally over! HOHO! Yes, great accomplishment!
No more energy-draining 5am wake ups every tuesday!
No more fretting over hair (both facial and head) and nails!
No more folding-of-apron-and-putting-it-carefully-in-bag-so-that-it-wont-get-crumpled!
No more taxis so that we wont be late!
No more pick-up charts!
No more this and that and here and there!
Of course, i wont say it's my best or most favourite module but at least it was the most memorable one. Both good and bad. And i will definitely miss those who were from this service class.

Oh, i thought of a low note alr!
And it's the lowest note ever!
I'm taking Culinary Science next semester!
Damn!
Someone told me (i think it might be myself :/ ), "Think Culinary Science. Think Hell's Kitchen".
Oh hack, at least there's Sentosaaaaaaaaaa to compensate!
Sun, Sand, Sea and Sexy (babes)!

Thursday, July 31, 2008

HAHAH. I sense a dead blog in making, not!

So damn freaking tired. Training, school, training and all over again. Dont even know how i have been surviving with such a hectic schedule and little sleep. I ish a strong boyxzxz worhxzx.
Hahahaha. Yes, thats the new way of talking. In thing in class now eh. Garie calls it "twit" and every monday is official twit day. It's really tiring trying to act lianxzx or bengxzx i tell you.

Accounts, TTO and prof tests are finally over. PHEW. I dont really bother if i do well for them or not (most prolly very bad) because i really have no time to prepare for all three. And BESE test 2 is tmr. How amazingly amazing. Tsk.

Okay, i really have to get back to mugging otherwise i'll be rather screwed tmr.

Rants n' Ravings!

SHITXZXZXZ!
School is practically sucking blood outta me!

BESE assignment due tmr.
Accounts test on tuesday.
SSM proficiency test on tueday.
TTO presentation on friday.
Water polo almost every other day.
TTO textbook out of stock.
TTO open book test in 2 weeks. (See? No book how to study??)
TTO field trip clashes with water polo pre-olympics. (DANG!)
BESE test in 2 weeks.
I'm feeling hungry.
Studying pick up chart for SSM is like hell.
My contacts have expired.
School starts tmr.
Hell week all over again.

Diarrhea is long gone though. (HAHA, eh Sulin, you damn suay la!)

Sis is back from HK too! KRISPY KREME RAWKS MY SOCKS! She bought 6 back from HK! Great stuff, i tell you!

<-------- This is seriously some cool shit! Oh, i mean donuts.
(Diabetes-inducing!)
And guess what? I finally got my facebook account! But it's a tad user-friendly, not.

Sunday, July 6, 2008

Hahaha. Sis is flying to hongkong tmr! Peace at home, finally! Haha.
Gonna miss euu manxzxz!(;

And the group just completed TTO. Phew. Super relieved. Next would be geog project submission and then major exams and presentations. Am going to puke blood.
Proficiency test 2 is in 2 weeks time man. Damn suay la. Am going to puke super a lot of blood then too. Tsktsk.

Actually nothing much to blog about. In a super "chiong" project mood right now. Have yet to finish accounts tutorial too. Oh man. I hate school.

Saturday, June 28, 2008

I'm as red as the colour red itself, seriously.
Burnt from training today.

Past few days were crappy. I had this stomach flu/food poisoning thing since Tuesday after SSM. "Diarrhea-ed" at least 10 times that night and 5 for the subsequent days. It was that bad. Just did it this morning too.
That sums it all: Engine school food is BAD. Maybe not all the stalls but the noodle one only.

Met up with bandies yesterday for SYF opening ceremony. Yeah manxzxz. Missed them.

And I shall talk more about China trip when the photos are being uploaded into my computer la. They have some hilariously translated signboards over there. Haha.

On a random note, waterpolo rawks my socks!(:

Tuesday, June 24, 2008

YEEEEHOOOOOO! Back from cheena land!
And i'm really drained out from training, school and lack of sleep.
Updates some other time!

Amelia; i know you read all my posts! hahah.

FLYING OFF TO CHINA TILL THE 22nd!

To Clifton: May you rest in peace. You will be dearly missed.

SSM test spells trouble!

I dont even think i'm remotely near passing. Especially if you kena Mr Goh as your examiner. Damn suay. The other tutors were freaking nice and lenient except for him and Mr Chia. WTH is wrong with them? Tsktsk. But many people didnt do so well either la. We'll just wait and hope for the best:/ Keeping fingers crossed.
Accounts paper was rather okay. Can't say i did well neither can i say i screwed it as bad as how i did for SSM.

Have been going out a lot this week. Haha. It feels so unreal. It's been a long time since i last went out to town. Watched narnia with samsee on monday and then out for muthu curry's prata hse with her and don. Yes, sam. Hahah a rotijohn, a murtabak, 2 pratas (if i have not mistaken), a plate of mee goreng and 5 bundungs add up to 3 fat pigs.
Then out with jeff on wednesday to town again.
Met up with bitch clan yesterday too! Crazy people i tell you!
Will be out to a party tmr night. Then off to cousin's house to slack my ass off on Sunday. Such life equals to total yayness eh!

Guess i'll get down to serious work this weekend. Super alot of deadlines to meet. I have my entrepreneurship individual and BSE group report due when school reopens, public speaking special occasion speech to be presented on the first week of school and TTO and geog travel submission dates. And then off to CHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEENA next friday!!

And TQB told us something her friend said. It goes..
Love is like pubic hair. It just keeps growing and never stops...

Haha, gross. But somewhat true.

Instant stress relief!

The following pics are damn funny. Lmao.

Difficult to eat. Hard to digest.

Kids from China are proved to be hazardous.

Wait till it screws you after getting pissed off!

Yah. So much for getting your foot snipped.

What a hollow world.

Thanks to these, harsh browns seem to be heartless food items.

No wonder the need for condoms. And these..

Sad to say Tongkat Ali isn't the new trend in town (this one got grape flavor somemore).

Hahaha. I have a strong feeling Zhang Wei Lao Shi translated all of these.

SUPER HECTIC WEEK!
Had my geog travel test and business ettiquette test this week. Screwed the first, didnt do so well for the second (although many said both were tough papers). But still, oh dear. I'm so dead. At least there's only accounts and proficiency test left.

Schoolwork is getting all so mundane and tough i barely took time out for myself these past two weeks. And i have waterpolo year ones complaining that schoolwork and trainings are killing them. Haha! Wait till you guys enter year 2 manxzxz! Still, i'm uber glad to say that school hols are around the corner. And and and i may not be visiting Cheeena Wheeena for the hols anymore. (Thank goodness!) Apparently, the travel agency is planning on cancelling the whole trip since many Singaporeans are still shaken by the earthquake and no one wants to visit there for the time being. (This really proves that Singaporeans are really damn kia-si.)

Random note: The chocolate i just ate made my body release a whole load of endorphins! Happy glends i call 'em! Wish i could just skip mid-sem test week and fast forward to the hols. So many things to do, so little time!
And to gan jun bitch: eh! i want to go your house to you-swee leh! and return you your gameboy at the same time ah!

Anyhow, my Travel and Tours Operations (TTO, in short) tutor never fails to crack me up. Haha, she's damn freaking funny because of her ang-moh wannabe chinese accent! Here goes, courtesy of Zhang Wei lao shi ah!:
She pronounces...
SIGHTSEEING as SEXING because she speaks a tad too fast. (How vulgar!)
TICKETS as TEE-KITS because i think she's trying to act cute??
ISSUES as EE-SIUS because she's trying a bit too hard.
And the most common one (you will only realise if you listen hard enough)...
DO (it's a simple word, no?) as TOO. (WTH)

Just imagine her saying: Do that, too. It would just come across as "too that too". Makes all the sense in the world eh! (Sense the hint of sacarsm) But still, the only motivation for me to attend her classes is to listen what new words she has invented. I'm a bad and evil student, i know.

Oh, here are tag replies!
samsee; eh dont be so stressed ah!:D
sulin; haha! tell you when we meet again! and linked!
liangyu; hello! how's school! miss you guys man!(:
lali; linked!
steph; yes, khoo!
junling and qiuling; you two are seriously the bitchiest people alive on this planet man! hahah have to tell y'all this very frightening experience i had when we meet again!

AMERICAN IDOL: COOK or ARCHULETA?

Yes i know. Another american idol post. But who cares? Dont read if you aint interested. Continue reading if you are in a pre-results show mood (:

I have to admit that David Archuleta (DA) won totally. Totally totally totally. I had this strong feeling about him bagging the title after the first song. However, my final vote goes to David Cook (DC), still.
It's true that DC got "knocked-out" (as mentioned by Simon) by DA in tonight's performance show. But isnt it also true that he's the ever first finalist to do a song he has never done before? Isnt it true that he has done consistently well and much better in any sense than DA over the past 11 weeks? Biased and all you may say, i still think that DC will emerge winner based all overall performances in this entire season as well as overall "american idol package". Even if he doesnt win, doesnt his future seem to have much resemblance to that of season 5's third runner up, Chris Daughtry?

Sunday, May 18, 2008

A super duper long weekend! Yeah man. Gonna go sentosa tmr for a lil' fun with the team. Stayed at home and finished up school stuff today. Am feeling so productive now.
Anyway, HAPPY BIRTHDAY, BRYAN LIM!:D

Saturday, May 17, 2008

SO IT'S TRUE: THE BATTLE OF THE DAVIDS!
MY VOTE DEFINITELY GOES OUT TO COOK.

AND WINNER OF ANTM CYCLE 10?
SPOILER ALERT!!!
Yes and more yes-es! Finally, the spotlight has hit the very first plus-sized model, now termed as "full figured" model, WHITNEY THOMPSON. Uber glad she won. I wont say it's a total hands-down win when she was up against runner-up, Anya, but it was a close fight i must say. And if have been following the show closely, it has been widely rumoured that this cycle's win has been fixed. *Gasps* True or false? I think it's the former. But who cares? She totally deserved it man. Okay, more updates tmr. Ciao!

Thursday, May 15, 2008

OH-SO-SUAY!
I'm headwaiter for sugarloaf's operation next tuesday! Dang, man!
On a lighter note, i have fun people working with me. Oh-the-happiness now!:D

And my my, i cannot emphasize how much i love American Idol. Best show of all time. My bet for the winner? No doubt, DAVID COOK yo!
And my my (again), i can hardly contain my excitement. For what? America's Next Top Model season finale. The call for the champ? WHITNEY, bay-beh!

Okay, the thought of next tuesday is making me wanna puke. So many things to cramp, so little time. I miss being a year one eh. Sudden nostalgia. Year 2 is becoming more and more dreadfulllllllllllllllllllllllllll. Oh well, will be heading off to sunny+bikini babes island next semester so that's something to look forward to! And of course, POLO, POLO and more POLO!

TAG REPLIES:
Qiuling: Hello bitch! Miss you! And i know you miss me too!:D
Steph: Hey hey! Long time no see! Meet up soon eh!

HAHAHA RANDOM POST!!!!

WATER POLO MAKES ME SUPER HIGH FOR SOME REASON! PERIOD. :D

Friday, May 2, 2008

Oh man. Labour Day is pretty much over. And that means there's school tmr. Tsktsk. Oh well, at least it's the end of the week alr. TGIF, TGIF..

Anyway, SSM this week was a lil' more interesting. Did more practical than theory stuff. Carried 2*1.1kg plates, a tray full of bottles and another full of bricks. Ain't easy, i tell you! My fingers were in blistering pain after carring the plates man. 2.2kg of plates sounds like a piece of cake, not till you try it. Lol. I think the "orh-chey" (i can't seem to figure out the hokkien spelling for "bruise") in my baby finger wont go away till next SSM lesson. Hahah.

DIRTY JOKE ALERT!
This happened during my SSM lesson. Super embarrassing. For the privacy of the innocent victim, i shall call him Peter in my post.
Yeah, after the plates station, we had to learn about the opening and sealing of wine bottles. Yes, CORKING in other words (get the hint now?(;). And poor Peter just happened to stand beside me. When the teacher was explaining the whole process, poor Peter didnt seem to catch what the teacher was saying. As a result, he had the most difficult time trying to yank and unscrew the cork out of his wine bottle. He was still trying with much rigor (but to no avail) when everyone else was done. [Here comes] So being the very kaypoh me, i peered over to his side and said: "Wah, Peter! Your cork is damn hard leh!"..
His expression? Priceless.
That wasn't the only dirty occurence at the table. And i should say my encounter was the most decent one by far.

And seriously, i dont think SSM is that bad a module after all. At least i made new HTM friends and i was called something i never knew i could be. Mr Goh referred me to as "Yesterday's vegetable". Pleasant, isn't it?

Anyhow, i'm still very very upset over the exit of vocal powerhouse, Carly Smithson. I was so darn upset i didnt even have the desire to watch the final 5 performance show on wednesday night.
Oh well, brooke was just eliminated, leaving both David Cook and Archuleta, Jason Castro and Syesha Mercado in the competition. If David Cook doesnt make it to the final 2, i'm going to smash my tv to bits. (That's how pissed i'm going to be)

Okay, enough blogging. The thought of school is making me so darn lethagic now.
Random: Maybe i should go swimming tmr eh. Yes, no, yes, no? I think i should(:

YEEEEEEHOOOOOOOOO! Back with updates!

Monday was boring day. Didnt do much eh. And also cant remeber what i did. But the gist of the week is TUESDAY!

Oh dear. Tuesday is officially dubbed as Hellday for me because of this module known as Service Skills Methodology(or something like that). Aiyah, all of us call it SSM so i think it doesnt matter how you spell it. It is supposed to be a module (held at Temasek Culinary Academy) that will equip you for the service and tourism industry with the neccessary skills and knowledge. Anyway, SSM is everything and anything but fun. Seriously not fun at all. They are super strict with everything. Nails, hair (which includes facial, nose and ear) etc. Now i'm enlightened why Temasek has been able to produce such wonderful tourism students. *Er-hem! Thank you, thank you*. It's more or less like a boot camp. Except for the fact that we are supposed to be clad in service uniform instead of army ones. And as you can tell, i'm SO looking forward to the next lesson. And the one after next. And the one after next till 13 torturous weeks are over.

Okay, enough of not-so-memorable-events which will be following me till the sem's over. CCA recruitment drive was crazy man! Crazily tired on the first day (wed) and crazily sian on the second day (thurs). Went around school trying to recruit people on wednesday but it turned out that girls are more interested in joining water polo than guys. Tsktsk. Then thurs was not fun. There were practically nobody visiting business concourse. (Yeah, it was the area where all the water sports were situated at) So slacking started to root itself at the area we were all at. Friday (which was just few hours back) was the last day. Didnt go down to the booth at all because of my insanely packed timetable.

And i can conclude that the people from water sports are damn fun man. We were trying to entertain each other when we had lack of business. Played this Coke game dumbass Melvin suggested with Sam see and Don. Played around with Team Wakeboard's balance board thingy. Tried to overpower Team swimming's Ziwei in whistle blowing yada yada.

Oh well, recruitment's over. Will be calling the year ones tmr night. Trials are next week. Gotta sleep soon. Training tmr as usual. Life's going to get boring especially when school has reopened. Oh man...
Anyhow, TPWP still rawks my socks!:D

Sunday, April 20, 2008

YES AH! Week Zero is finally over!! Damn high from all that cheering. I love being an SL man. Once again, Business school has been crowned 4 times champs plus best spirited school plus something else and something else more which i cant remember.

To Cheryl Hee (who is an SL from Design school):
Business has won the war,
business has won the war,
business has won the war,
One more time go!
Business has won the war,
business has won the war,
business has won the war.
One last time go!
Business has won the war!
Business has won the war!
Business has won the war!

Yeah!:D

It was rather fun lah. Cheered, cheered and more cheering on the first day till my voice got sexy and all. Then had training and stayed back in school for the night because i had to do time-keeping for temasek regatta with my team mates very early next day. Seriously, the school is a very very bad place to sleep in. It was hot and stuffy and the design peeps were still cheering away like mad in the middle of the night (they were still having their orientation camp).

Anyway, CCA recruitment's next week. Still have to do scheduling for the team. Lol. Uber tired. Gonna die. But going out with Porus SLs later. Yeah(:

In 2004, we made history.
Best Drum Major Award 2004 for the very first time...

In 2006, we made history too.
Best Drum Major Award 2006 plus the first batch to achieve the Gold With Honors Award.

Just 2 days ago, in the very same stadium, Deyi marked our place, making us the best in history ever.
Gold With Honors.
Best Drum Major Award 2008
Best Display Band of the year 2008.

Yes, it still hasn't sunk in to me that Deyi has created legend only TK has created before in 2002, winning both best band and best drum awards. Seriously, when TK marched down national stadium, i thought for sure that we were definite goners. Precision, music and marching were all so perfect just like the past few years. Everything was done in a very authentic TK manner.

Then, there was Deyi Military Band. I now dub it the Oh-all-the-sex-and-hotness-band. Nothing more to be said. One word: Impressive. Another word: Impeccable. Last word: Exquisite. Three minutes into the show, i knew Deyi has given TK a good run for the money. Everything just seemed to be so perfect. Fate of Deyi for being the best band was considered (by me) to be sealed as soon as the baton twirlers finished their routine.

Anyhow, updates on some surprising results:
TANJONG KATONG BAND , widely known as TK Band, got G.W.Hs too. After the 5 years winning streak, i guess that it's time for you guys to pass the title on. But for one thing i can rely my life on: TK will fight back with vengeance in 2010 for the title again. You are basically the only competitors Deyi will be looking out for.

BOWEN BAND received GOLD this year. After watching them, i (and most other people) believe that the traditional top three bands have been cut down to only two, namely TK and Deyi. Totally out of the top three league this year, it's hard to imagine how good they were in 2002 as compared to now. Please stage a comeback in 2010. We would love to see a once-darkhorse-and-now-underdogs do well.

PING YI, surprisingly, obtained SILVER. *GASPS SO LOUD THAT IT FEELS LIKE HEAVY BREATHING* I'm surprised not because they did badly. I'm surprised because they did superb and only received a silver medal. When they performed, the Deyi Alumni all considered them to be a G.W.Hs medalist, booting Bowen out of the top 3 schools. However, there are too many tatics from DCI, Cavaliers and other performing bands going on. Very "not original" in fact.

BP BAND was expected to clinch a GOLD, given their performance this year. Shockingly, they too got silver. Being fourth place in the year 2002, following closely behind TK, Bowen and Deyi in the Grand Finals, i think it's hard for them to receive a silver medal too, considering that they were once a gold band.

NOSTALGIA. Here's the placing i give the bands since 2002.

SYF 2002:
1. TK
2. Bowen
3. Deyi
4. BP

SYF 2004:
1. TK
2. Deyi
3. Bowen

SYF 2006:
1. TK
2. Deyi
3. Bowen

SYF 2008:
1. Deyi
2. TK
3. Ping Yi

My prediction for 2010? Hard to tell now. But rest assure it's going to be all about TK and Deyi. (Though i would love to add Bowen into this) The first's a all-time favourite with a record of 5 Best Band titles while the latter's the new defending champion with an archive of 3 Best Drum Major Awards.
Then again, it's up to former powerhouse Bowen Band to mark their place once again like how they did in the early part of the century and take the field by storm.
(I somehow miss the times when there was so much feud going on between these three schools.)

Once again, congrats to Deyi Band for sweeping all 3 awards. I, as an ex-trumpeter from Deyi, salute you guys for doing so well.

May the best band win in 2008.

Omg. So many things to blog about. Especially about my hideous looking hair. Tsktsk. Okay, rather busy now. Will upload pics and blog in detail when i'm done with CCA recruitment proposal. Lol.

Saturday, March 22, 2008

Hey all! Back to updates! Hahah. My crazy ass laptop crashed yesterday. Freaking pissed. I have to use my sister's one now to blog. Lol. And for those who didnt know, BARNEY is actually my sister. As in my real, kin, connected-by-blood sister. She's one lame shit, i know. But i still love her as much:D
Had waterpolo meeting on monday. CCA recruitment and important dates like that coming up. Met sarah leow and some 02 peeps with some waterpolo dudes for dinner @ bedok 85 after that. The Bak Chor Mee was simply tantilising. Heavenly! Then BZ had to show us something so freaky all of us didnt dare to go home, i swear. It was some picture of her with her friend and there was a you-know-what in it too. You could have imagined how frightened i was when i was walking home all alone at 12 midnight.
Tuesdays and Wednesdays spent sleeping, as usual. Like seriously man. How cool would it be to have sleeping as an occupation? I would have already been a millionare ages ago.
Then Thursday was a tad more productive. Haha. Went for training and did super a lot of leg work. Yeah, my butt hurt so much that night and it is still hurting now. I is going to have a bubble butt soon! ;)
Miraculously, i can't really recall what happened yesterday. Hahah, see see? Sleeping makes you go bonkers. Yup, life is mundane. Especially without a laptop. Tsk. Never mind. I shall do what i do best later.
Okay, since i have been so narcissistic (you have no idea how much i love myself) and have been talking about a no-lifer for the past 5 minutes, i repent by posting INTERESTING FACTS PART 2:
1. Marilyn Monroe had six toes. (I had no idea too.)
2. Most dust particles in your house are made from dead skin. (Sick. You are breathing in your dead skin right now as you are reading this.)
3. A snail can sleep for three years. (HA! Snails are my best friends from now on!)
4. On average, 100 people choke to death on ball-point pens every year. (Hallelujah.)
5. Turtles can breathe through their butts. (GROSS! Does that mean they can fart and release their waste through their mouths?)

Last but not least..
The ultimate fact..
You burn more calories sleeping than you do watching television. (Take that, TV junkies!)

Tuesday, March 18, 2008

Ha! Replying blog tags only! Lazy to blog now. Shall do it tmr.

RACH: HAHA! I know i'm 3 8. But still can't rival you yet (;

BARNEY: Hello barney! I see you everyday till i have nothing else better to reply. Go mug your law notes! Go go! Haha.

BRAN: Eh bitch! Go study for your block tests man! Call you guys out after that!

SEALION: Hello idiot! My GPA dropped freaking a lot man! Haha. DIE! Seeya when school reopens! (Let's pray that TCA burns down so that we do not have to go to school that early.)

Wednesday, March 12, 2008

OMG, MY GPA DROPPED BY A WHOOPING 0.19. STILL ABOVE 3.0 THOUGH. ON MY WAY TO BUM CITY. OH WELL, WHO CARES SINCE IT'S THE HOLS NOW EH? TRYING NOT TO BOTHER SO MUCH.

Monday, March 10, 2008

Omg, extra jaded now man. Just woke up from my seemlingly long nap. The chalet was crazy eh. When i went to sleep for not more than 5 minutes, suhaimi started to throw packets of chilli sauce at me. Like wth. Lol. Haha. So i didnt sleep at all.
Kinda lazy to blog now. Still feeling kinda wiped out. Anyway, celebrated seok's birthday at J8 last night too. Happy birthday, seok!:D Took a bus down from there to pasir ris and then cabbed down to east coast. Apparently, i got off the wrong place (nothing so new, happens to me quite often) and i had to walk what seemed like a thousand miles to the chalet room man. Oh well, i did have a blast though(:

And SYF'08 will be held in HCI, 4pm. In order of appearance for the bands are:
Orchid park. (A new school to the marching band scene.)
TANJONG KATONG. (Undisputed champs for the past 5 SYFs. Yes, they are crazily crazily good.)
Pingyi.
BOWEN. (Rooting for them this year. They seem really really strong so far!)
Bukit Panjang.
Yusof Ishak. (It's kinda interesting to see how they have "grown" the past few years, no?)
West Spring.
DEYI. (Yeah, the one and only:D)
Springfield.

I must really say i have to sympathise with Orchid Park and Pingyi. Appearing before and after TK isnt a good thing, seriously. And what's more, Pingyi is sandwiched between two of the three powerhouses man (Yup, the last is deyi. That's why i caps-locked the 3 schools). Haha. Gonna be quite a show not to be missed. My call for the winner? I would hate to say this but i've got this strong feeling that it is going to be TK, again. Well, we shall see.

Saturday, March 8, 2008

Okay people! Especially to GAN JUNLING and TOH QIULING! Have changed the tagboard to CBOX so there wont be word filtering! Go ahead and type all the "stupid cherny bitch" you have wanted to do. Ha!
I'm entirely pissed and upset with this because i typed a whole post and blogger was unable to post it up. When i wanted to go back, "TA-DAAAA!" , the post was gone. Tsktsk. Oh well, at least i will be able to kill some time trying to re-type another one.

Yesterday was oficially "back to training" day. Didnt do much actually. Just did legwork and some other stuff. And the school pool's water was damn gross. The whole pool was filled with creepy crawlies man. They covered almost the entire part of the pool we were at. Some were the big, "man-eating" ones while some were small and squirmy. Inevitably, i swallowed three and i heard Melvin choking on some. Sick, i know.

I'd better catch up on my sleep eh. This sunday is chalet night! Chalet=no sleep. Yeah, watch out for those monstrous eyebags on monday morning.

Then again, i'm lazy to continue the rest of my post because i'm still feeling irritated. (and super lazy) Yes, laziness is consuming my entire life, seriously. But i dont really care. I like ;)
Woohoo! Yesterday was oficially "back to training" day! Didnt swim at all though. Just did leg work and some other stuff. Hahaha. The school pool's water was disgustingly gross. Not that people pee-ed inside and made it all dirty, but you should have seen the number of insects, a combination of small, squirmy ones plus large, "man-eating" ones, floating at the surface of the pool. Some were dead while most were still wriggling for dear life. Sick, I tell you. Inevitably, I swallowed at least 3 of them and i heard Melvin choking on one. Lol. Good source of protein, no?

The past week was really about doing nothing. All i did was to sit on front of the computer to watch video after video. Just finished watching ANTM cycle 9. Yes, i know i'm slow but please consider the fact that i didnt even have time to on the TV before exams. I'm waiting for ep.3 of cycle 10 to be posted on youtube now.

Guess i've got to catch up on my sleep this week 'cos there will be a chalet this sunday. Ha! Chalet=no sleep. Watch out for those eyebags on monday morning.

That's more or less eh. Feeling kinda tired still even though i just woke up so i'm lazy to continue rambling on. Pure laziness is comsuming my entire life man. But i dont really care. I like;)

Zoombox: Hahaha. No thanks, i dont see the use for viagra now. Get back to you when i need it desperately. Lmao.

Tuesday, March 4, 2008

HA! I just completed the pokemon:yellow jL lent to me. Hahaha, i'm going to borrow another cartridge from her to kill time man. School doesnt start in another month's time and i'm lazy to go get a job. So basically, my routine for now is to sleep at 12am, wake up at 12pm and do mindless stuff for the 12 hours i am awake. This is life yo. And there's actually training today. It's not like i can swim but i really do want to go down soooooo bad):

Anyway, all of you should have already heard (and this is out to those who do not read the papers and just get glued to the bed whole day long) about the escape of the JI leader. Yes, seriously dangerous. You might just get shot (touch wood) in the head by him along the streets one fine day and you will still be clueless when you reach heaven eventually. Because of this, an island (or rather regional) wide search for this walking time bomb is carried out. And this event really got me thinking. Here goes:
(Sorry for any errors in grammar, spelling or punctuation. Just lazy to do my grammar/spelling/punctuation check.)
It was only last Saturday, 1st March, when my Mom got a call from her boss that she was activated for the assignment of logistics stuff to the army. No, she aint no army woman. (Well, she used to be) She's a manager for the distribution of logistics items for major events such as this as far as i know. Her boss called her to tell her that the Ministry of Home Affairs Minister (i think) required 1000 bottles of sunblock lotion for the army boys to carry out this important mission. WTF?! 1000 bottles of sunblock and mind you, it was already 8 pm. Where to find so many bottles? The main concern here is: If they have already gone through such rigorous training in the army, why the need for sunblock in the first place?! The army is supposed to be a place for you to build up stamina and endurance in times of emergency like this, isnt it?

I totally agree with my sister that it wasnt the army's decision to actually use the sunblock but rather the Ministry's. This might be for the welfare of the army boys, no? But what i'm trying to get across here is that even secondary school kids can get through 4 years of intense military band trainings under the blazing hot sun, marching their lungs out and playing through their smelly mouthpiece without the use of sunblock, (yes, not even one 5cent coin of lotion) why cant the people who decided to get sunblocks for the army put some faith in their boys and trust that they wont moan and groan about getting into the hot sun?

You might have already started calling me "hyped-up" and bitchy over stupid sunblocks but this matter killed my night severely. Every 2 minutes, someone would call my mom to update her about the items, spoiling much of my awaited mahjong game at granny's place. Our whole family had to leave the mahjong table at 10pm or so (we usually play till 12 plus) because my mom had to go back to office. Final outcome? They decided not to distribute the sunblocks anymore when we got home. Tsktsk. What's there not to be upset about??

Anyway, kudos to the team of committed people who are in search for the JI leader now. (i cant spell him name for nuts) And to all out there, please keep a look out because it has been reported that there might be a slight possibility that he is still in Singapore.

YES! TODAY IS THE BEST DAY OF THE YEAR SO FAR! EXAMS ARE OFFICIALLY OVER!
I have to say the marketing paper did suck a bit but who cares man?! Was damn stressed over it last night. I slept at 2.30 am and put my alarm at 4 am so that i could wake up and study again. Apparently, being the "known one for snoozing handphone alarms", i never woke up till 7. Yes, you should have seen that priceless look on my face. Classic shot i must say.

Past few days were just as mundane as usual eh. Stuck at home studying. Tsktsk. Such a no-lifer i was. Anyhow, still going out tmr (maybe) and off to jL's house on friday! What yay-ness! It's been a long long time since i last met up with those biatches!

And melvin is being the ultimate lame shit. (Yes, i know you are reading this melvin.) Hahaha. Well, he has always been la. But still, he is the ultimate lame yet cool shit yeah. Haven't talked to him since 2398476924782749845 years ago. Ha! Just bumped into him in the school library this afternoon.

OH, also, i talked my mom into letting me go for my surgery. Finally! I have to go consult a second doctor first though but i dont really care. I need to play waterpolo sooooo badly.

That's all for now. I can watch American Idol in total peace tonight without having to worry about any papers! What yay-ness, again!:D

I'M NO DOUBT THE DUMBEST PERSON ALIVE RIGHT NOW.

Why? Here is how it goes...

3:59PM
I was sitting at my seat writing my name on my econs exam script. Yes, i have completed the paper and i felt so damn relieved that one paper's over. When i wanted to check my script, i saw the time. "DIE", i thought. "Only one minute left for checking". So, i did a super brief check for sections B and C.

4:00PM
Okay, the check was done and i expected the teacher to say "time's up". I looked around and saw many others scribbling on their answer sheets still. "Wah, so many people cannot finish doing hur? Poor things".

4:01PM
I looked at the clock and looked back at the examiner, thinking "This crazy idiot sure doesn't know how to tell time eh!" At this point, i was wondering if i should actually re-check my paper and apparently, i didnt because i thought the teacher would be clever enough to find out that time is up and collect the scripts in a minute or so.

4:02PM
When the clock hit two minutes after 4, i saw pearlyn standing up and handing in her paper. I did the same, still thinking why the teacher hasnt noticed the time already exceeded 2 mins. I grabbed my bag and left the room.

4:04PM
"HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!! THE TEACHER IS SUCH AN ASS LEH! TIME'S UP ALR STILL DONT KNOW AH", i exclaimed to Pearlyn.
Of course, this was the turning point.
Pearlyn gave me a confused look and quipped, "Er, the paper doesnt end till 4:30PM, what!"
"Hahaha, where got.....???"
Yes, i went totally blank.
"OH YAH HOR! OH MY GOD!"
I really wanted to go back into the class and snatch my script back! I was really the total ass man! The paper started at 2:30PM and it was supposed to be 2 hrs long!

I didnt know how i miscalculated 2 hrs from 2:30PM. Even a fifth grader is better than me in counting la. And i cant believe i did the paper in 1.5 hrs. Oh dear, i'm still feeling like a dumb ass now. A mere 5 minutes proved how silly i can be.

Luckily, even if i were to stay, i would have managed to salvage another mark only. Not that bad after all hur? And thank goodness i will be able to score at least (i've alr checked the answers with all my other friends) an A for this paper. Otherwise i wont be here blogging anymore. Hahaha.

Okay, you are officially given permission to call me an airhead.

P.S. Do teach me how to tell time in future.

I AM FEELING SO BUMMED RIGHT NOW, REALLY.

Tuesday, February 19, 2008

I just went to see my orthopaediatrician. Yes, i do need surgery. It has been confirmed that i have a tear in my shoulder capsule. But i have two options. Here goes..

OPTION ONE: I'll just let the tear be there but it won't auto-heal. Rather, it would never heal at all. The doc said my nerve system has gotten so used to the pain, i don't feel anything. So if i choose this option, i will never get to play waterpolo ever again.

OPTION TWO: I go for surgery and get my shoulder capsule stitched back into postition. It will heal completely after 3 to 6 months but there might be a 10% recurrence. That doesn't mean i get to play waterpolo after that either. Well, i CAN play. It's just that i have to refrain from overstraining it.

So now what? I told my mom i wanna go for the 2nd option because i still want to continue playing what i really love but she insists on the first. She doesn't seem too happy about the idea of me going back to waterpolo. What ever it is, i dont really care. I am going to insist fully on the 2nd choice till i get my way. But still, even if i go for the opt, i have to be very very careful with my right shoulder. No extreme swimming for prolonged periods for time etc etc. Or maybe i will get a new metal hand. That will be damn cool. Move aside, bionic woman, i'll show you what my new hand can do! (If i really do get one. LOL)

LAW LAW LAW LAW LAW LAW LAW LAW LAW LAW LAW LAW LAW LAW LAW LAW LAW LAW LAW LAW LAW LAW LAW LAW LAW LAW LAW LAW LAW LAW LAW LAW LAW LAW LAW LAW LAW. CAN YOU BELIEVE IT?! I'M MUGGING FOR MY LAW PAPER ON THE SECOND DAY OF NEW YEAR. SCREW EXAMS MAN, SERIOUSLY.

On a lighter note, BCS paper was way over. The paper sucked but everyone's complaining too. So at least it's not just me. Hahaha. And it seems to me like people have a penchant for OCBC angbaos. Nine out of ten of angbaos i received are in fact OCBC ones. Even my parents are using them. Where did all those cute ratty ones go?

Anyway, will be heading down to cousin's hse later to chill a bit. Then will be going to my granny's hse for more GAMBLING! Yeah man. Gambling is seriously the best thing to do during CNY. House visitings are really a bore.

Yep, and next week's the last week of school with those crazy people. ): Then it would be study week. Gonna miss 'em truckloads.

Okay i'd better get back to studying. I hope the law papers get lost in their own boredom.

MIND YOU, RIGHT BEFORE CNY!

UPDATES!

January is finally over! Like finally! Such a bad month it was! Had so many projects, the shoulder injury and the crazy waterpolo-is-closing-down thing. Ironically, 8 days predicted that January's supposed to be the peak period for Capricorns (i'm one!). For the worse or for the better? I guess it's the former. Oh well, i dont really care since it's Feb alr.

And waterpolo is going to continue as a team in TP(: DAMN HAPPY!:D (SEE SEE?? GOOD THINGS SEEM TO HAPPEN IN FEB.) Just that we'll be a recreational team rather than a competitive one. But who cares man? At least we are still able to function. Hahah.

Exams are around the corner too. Gonna have my BCS paper next tuesday followed by my law paper on the 16th. The rest of my papers will end by Feb. And CNY's next week! ANG BAOs will be flooding in again man! yes! here comes my source of "income"! hahahaha.
Okay enough crapping, gtg study for BCS alr. Yeah, it's super boring.

Sunday, January 27, 2008

YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The week's finally over! Really hectic i must say! OB, marketing, Jap, econs and comm skills are all over and done with! There's still BCS dreamweaver left but thank goodness it's almost completed.

The week was really tough. I had to take my pain killers every now and then in order to ease the pain in my shoulder. The hospital rung me up on Monday and told me that there's a crack in my shoulder bone. Yeah, gonna see the orthopaediatrician on Monday for a check up. That means i get to skip an hour of comm skills! Hahaha. And i have been sleeping less than 7 hrs for the past three days due to never ending datelines to meet. Maybe i'll turn in earlier tonight.

Well, marketing individual results aren't that good anyway. Had a D. Kinda expected it though. Most of the people in my class got either a D or a C too. But what i heard was that the students who are not under aloysius lee got rather bad grades. Funny hur. But oh well, i don't really care since it's already over. At least i got rather good results for my comm skills and Jap(:

Okay, i'm damnnnnnnnnn hungry now. I skipped lunch just to finish BCS. Omg, i can't believe i didn't take lunch.

Sunday, January 20, 2008

HEY! Been a loooooooooong time since i last blogged. Yeah. Past few days were damn crappy man. Next week too, but not as bad.

I need to get a life, seriously. I have been working my guts out and been sleeping at 1 in the morning in order to finish all my school stuff. Well, at least marketing oral assessment and law individual project are over and done with. Left with a whole lot of econs, marketing presentation, BCS dreamweaver to be done. And Jap listening test's next thursday too.

Something very very bad happened at training today. I DISLOCATED MY RIGHT SHOULDER AND IT WAS FREAKING PAIN. Dior sent me to the nearest clinic and the doctor said my ligament's damn loose. It's known as partial dislocation. So how? Can't train for the next two weeks): Gotta go for an X-ray too. Oh man..

LOL. Yeah, so no training=lifeless. Guess i'll be a good boy and take this time to study for final years. Okay, i'm going to take my nap now. Tatas.

CHERNRONISTHENOBLEONE
not so noble with a loose arm.

Monday, January 14, 2008

OH MAN! Next week sucks! Full of stuff and everything else!
Just came back from dinner. Am damn full.
And yesterday was damn fun. Hahaha, had polo in the morning then went for water polo chalet at night. Chilled out at the room and did insane stuff. Haha. Thats the gist of the week.
Super tired now. Shant blog anymore for today.

CHERNRONISTHENOBLEONE
you really make me smile(:

Recollection.

One for all, all for one. That’s the spirit of Temasek Team Water Polo-no one fends for himself.

Walking along Temasek Business School, I wondered long and hard what CCA I should join. Booth after booth, nothing interesting seemed to allure me over. When I finally decided to head back to the school canteen after searching in vain, two guys approached me saying “Join team Water Polo!” Looking down at the barely filled list, I refused to put my name down for trials. However, after much persuasion, I wrote my particulars reluctantly.

My sister exclaimed in dismay when she learnt I put my name down for the school’s Water Polo Team. She raved on and on about the inevitable injuries, scars and other scary stuff that will happen to me if I were to join. Nevertheless, I decided to give it a shot.

The day of trial saw much hesitation. My friend pulled out in the end, leaving me helpless and unwilling to go for the trials. Somehow, I went in the end and that very day marked the start of something new.

First training felt as if somebody threw me in a foreign place. Not a single familiar face was detected. All I can remember is that Kiwi looked as though he was going to explode in those muscles of his, Melvin looked like a typical Malay while don-beng was identified as the guy who borrowed goggles from me during the trials. Then, the subsequent trainings seemed to turn out for the better. People started to open up to each other and a slight bond was formed. The best part was always looking in awe how great the seniors were every time coach took them for swimming.

In the blink of an eye, the year 1s found ourselves swimming with the year 2s for trainings. We started to learn how the game works and this was also when I started to question myself. Scolding, chiding and reprimanding looked like what we signed up for. There will always be a time where it seemed like the seniors bore a grudge against us. Be it swimming or playing a match, we will get ticked off about the slightest mistake. I remember a time where I told myself: What the hell did I get myself into? My arms were aching, legs were burning and my mind was on the verge of bursting from all that swimming. That was the time I almost gave up. Many things went through me. I asked myself constantly why I tortured myself by joining such a tough sport. Why didn’t I join something more relaxing like TPSU in the first place? The answer didn’t come to me till I witnessed what happened at POLITE. After losing every match so badly and not even coming close to 3rd place (we were miles away and there were only 4 teams), there was a strong urge to suddenly train doubly hard and to fight back. All I could think of was to continue persevering and to overcome all odds to reach the top. That was the moment when I finally found my passion for the sport.

Trainings after that were like banishing everyone to hell. All of us will look like zombies after each training. School work and projects were also piling up like nobody’s business.

There was a time when I was extremely uncertain about my position in the Water Polo Team. Bryan used to dub himself, me, Melvin, Kiwi and Terry the ideal 5 for the year 1 team. It may sound very egotistical but I actually felt so too. However, I felt like I got worse and worse each training and was always demoralized when the seniors scolded me for doing something wrong. It seemed to me as though I wasn’t going to make it to the main team. Major flaws started to arise such as “lousy game sense”. Nevertheless, instead of resting on my laurels and feel lousy about myself, I decided to work on my mistakes every time someone corrected me.

Week after week, Kuan Sheng will be there constantly telling and guiding me on what to do. From there, I learnt a lot of things such as driving techniques and the different kinds of ways to break free/attack/defend. Kudos to you, Kuan Sheng. I must really thank you for teaching us and being there every training without fail just to train us for the better. Your unwavering patience and guidance have earned our utmost respect.

After almost 6 months of intense training, improvements in everyone could be seen. Now, I am vying for the position of Keeper with Weida. It is anybody’s game. It’s either you make it or you don’t. I find that I’m rather apart from the other year 1s now. Everyone will be doing swimming training and laps while I will be doing leg work with Andy and Weida at the other side of the pool. There’s this spaced out feeling that feels weird. Of course, keeper trainings are usually like that (as quipped by Andy) so I have decided to put my heart and soul into all the keeper trainings I have, especially with the valuable help from Ben. Other than that, I still see the need in improving my skills as a player in the pool.

Last night was really the most depressing day I ever had. The bad news conveyed to the team was one that any sportsman wouldn’t want to hear. I have to admit I teared even before opening Kunlong’s proposal file. Every thing I hoped for seemed to crumble before my eyes. It was like being hit by a truck unknowingly and the next moment you realize you are already dead. The fond memories with the team, the unglam times while training, the vulgarities used in the pool, the crazily tiring sprints and of course extremely cold water during rainy days will not be forgotten. The amazing experience I have walked through and the unyielding interest for Water Polo is something no other CCA will be able to replace.

I have something to say before I end my post. To the board who decided to close Water Polo down, the team respects your decision totally. There’s no point bitching about you behind your back. But you pissed us off in the wrong way and we are not going down that easily without putting up a fight. Mark my words; we will bounce back with much vengeance. You just wait and see.

Guess what? I went back to school today! Sunday! Damn sian. Went back for marketing project at 9am. Felt like a normal school day. But oh well, had a lot of fun in school. We told each other ghost stories and freaked emily and bizhi out, raved on and on how hungry we were (we didnt eat for 6hrs. even the Cheers wasnt operating) and did stupid things with the railing.
Then sarah bizhi and i headed to TM to have PIZZA! It was the best meal i ever had! Sumptuous! The initial plan was to go to pasta mania because wati was working there and we could have a discount but apparently, she was on leave.
Anyway, we bitched non-stop and started to spill the beans about one another. It's a secret among the three of us! ;)

And school isnt as hectic as I thought it would be. Jap test is finally over and i think the paper was rather okay. Projects are more or less on the right track while individual assignments are being worked on. Best of all, i think waterpolo is the coolest sport in TP!:D

The previous post was about juicy bits and i totally forgot about new year resolutions. LOL. But oh well, i'm too lazy to list them all anyway. So here's some of them:

Do well in school. C'mon, higher GPA!
Play waterpolo well. (Goalie goalie!!)
Attend all my law lectures.
Do my Org Beh tutorials.
Utilise the school's Cheers even more ;)

Guess thats all. Hahah. Quite little for resolutions hur. Oh yeah, and and and..

Well, school wasn't the most fun affair as usual. Went for law lecture in the morning and then slacked with melvin till my marketing consultation started. And something triggered me to think about my econs mid-sem again. AIYOHHHHHHH. The more i think about the paper the more i feel i screwed it up. And heard that marketing individual assignment isnt that well done either.
Went to student lounge after classes with emily and melvin to look at pearlyn's colin. Hahah, he damn tall. And i mean really really tall! Then went to the coffeeshop to makan with melvin that stupid ass.
Hoho, guess what? Jap test's tmr man! Cass is super lucky! She has LOA for her IVP so she doesnt need to sit for the test! And i am super lazy to study for it now. I guess i'd better get going with studying. Got to do econs article summary and review by friday too!

3.5 isnt very far from your current GPA score now! Study harder to get 1.7 more points you bitch! 1.7 only, 1.7!
(an attempt to self-motivate. haha)
